RelayKey
AI answers from the software you already pay for

Your managers ask.
Your systems answer.

RelayKey connects AI to your HR, training, scheduling, and phone systems. Your managers type a question in plain English and get the answer in minutes, without waiting on a report or matching spreadsheets by hand.

We set it up for you in two weeks. Your IT team keeps control of who can see what.

Which caregivers working next week still haven't finished their annual compliance training?

12 caregivers on next week's schedule have training that isn't finished. These 4 work in the next 48 hours:

The answer is already in your software. Getting it out is the hard part.

You wait a week for a simple report

The data is in the system. But getting it out means a ticket to IT, a request to the vendor, or a favor from the one person who knows how.

Someone matches spreadsheets by hand

Training lives in one system and schedules in another. So someone exports both, lines them up, and hopes nothing changed in the meantime.

The software was built for data entry, not questions

Your HR, training, and scheduling tools are good at recording things. They are not good at telling you what's going on.

What people ask

Real questions from real managers. Answered in minutes, not days.

Nobody needs training. If they can write an email, they can ask a question. The answer can pull from more than one system at once.

How it works

We do the setup. Your team just asks.

You don't need a data team or an engineer. We handle the technical work and coordinate with your IT lead. It takes them about an hour.

  1. 1Day 1

    We pick the questions

A 45-minute call with you and the managers who'll use it. We write down the 10 questions your team asks most, and which systems hold the answers.

  2. 2Days 2–10

    We connect your systems

We work with your IT lead or system admin to connect each system with read-only access. Your managers never handle a password or a login for these systems.

  3. 3Days 10–14

    Your team starts asking

Each person gets their own access in their AI assistant, limited to what their role should see. We sit with them for their first questions.

  4. 4Every month after

    We keep it working

New question? New system? New hire? Email us. We handle it, and we'll tell you which questions your team asks most.

For your IT lead

The reason IT says yes.

Giving AI access to company systems is usually where these projects stall. RelayKey started as the security layer. This is the part we're most careful about.

Read the full security overview →

Forward this section to your IT lead. It answers most of their questions.

Everyone gets their own access

No shared logins. Each person gets their own access, and you can turn it off in one click without touching anyone else's.

Read-only by default

The AI can look things up. It can't change, delete, or send anything unless you specifically allow it.

Only what their role needs

Your training lead sees training and schedules. Not payroll. You decide which parts of which systems each person can reach.

Every question is logged

See who looked up what, and when, in one audit log. Access expires automatically when you want it to.

Real credentials stay locked away

Your system passwords and API keys are stored encrypted in RelayKey. They never go to your managers, their laptops, or the AI tool.

Stolen access doesn't work

If someone's access is used from a new location, it's blocked until they confirm by email. Self-hosted is available for regulated teams.

Systems we connect

Built for the software nobody else connects to.

Big-name tools are getting built-in AI connections. Your HR, training, and scheduling systems probably aren't. That's where we started.

Case study

FreedomCare: managers get their own answers.

FreedomCare, a large home care company, uses RelayKey across recruiting, training, and operations. Here's what changed for three of those teams.

  • Head of RecruitingGreenhouse

Before: Asked someone to pull hiring numbers, then waited.

Now: Pulls applicant and pipeline numbers directly.

  • Head of TrainingAbsorb

Before: Requested training reports and matched them by hand.

Now: Checks who's behind on compliance directly.

  • OperationsHubSpot and more

Before: Waited on reports from other teams.

Now: Asks questions across systems at once.

Questions

Good questions we hear on the first call

Do my managers need to be technical?+

No. They type questions the way they'd ask a coworker. If they can write an email, they can use it.

What do you need from our IT team?+

About an hour. Someone with admin access to each system creates a read-only connection, and we walk them through it on a call. They also approve who gets access to what.

Can the AI change or delete anything?+

Not by default. Access is read-only unless you specifically turn on something else, like drafting a record for a person to review.

Where does our data go?+

When someone asks a question, the answer goes from your system, through RelayKey, to that person's AI assistant. RelayKey doesn't store the contents of your records. It logs who asked for what, and when. Self-hosted is available if your data can't leave your network.

Which AI assistant does my team use?+

Most teams use Claude. We'll set it up with the assistant your company has already approved.

What if our software isn't on your list?+

Tell us on the first call. If your software can connect to other tools, we can almost always connect it, usually within a few days.

Bring the three questions your team asks most.

In 20 minutes, we'll show you how they'd get answered, which systems we'd connect, and what a two-week pilot looks like.
